appcenter command isn't working at all

Steps to Reproduce

1. run 'appcenter' command on terminal.

Expected Behavior

Get a list of options, or an error message if something is wrong.

Actual Behavior

What actually happens?

  A non-ending steam of gibberish and unrecognizable commands on my terminal with no useful information.

Some sub-commands would work, such as 'appcenter login'. But most of them, including

   appcenter codepush deployment list -a OWNER/APP -k

Would just give me this stream of random characters.

Node version: v16.13.1
NPM version: 8.1.2
AppCenter version: 2.10.1 (Tried a few other ones, no dice)
RN Version: .61
MacOS: 12.0.1 M1 Chip
