Steps to reproduce

ctrl+shift+f doesn't have any response.

My settings.json:

"actions": [{ "command": "find", "keys": "ctrl+shift+f" }]

and only "find" uses ctrl+shift+f

(Even if this doesn't work, is there any other way to open search box?)

Could you share your whole settings.json file? That keybinding should work (and should work by default). I wonder if there's something else, some other application, which is hooking it globally.

@liubq7 I experienced same thing and I was able to figure out the cause of my issue.
I have Microsoft Pinyin input method installed. When I was using windows terminal, and the language of input method is Chinese (Pinyin), pressing 'ctrl + shift + f ' would just switch the output of input method between Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
Only after I switch input method to English (United State) can I see search dialog using 'ctrl + shift + f '.
