- Windows build number:
Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.16299.547]
The console (Debian GNU/Linux) worked perfectly fine. Then over night I had it open and the next morning it was closed without a notice (other programs were still running). Now when trying to open it I am getting the error
"The code execution cannot proceed because api-ms-win-core-console-l2-2-0.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
. I tried that, as well as repairing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributions (2012, 2013, 2015 & 2017) and running DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow but nothing changed. I don't see the dll under C:\Windows\(System32 or SysWOW64).
The Windows update-log only shows one for Adobe Acrobat Reader on that date.
I guess it is rather a Windows issue than a console one but maybe someone can point me in a useful direction...
