This doesn't work how I want it to. In order for this to work right, it all has to parent to the ci.yml, which is the required build that is surfacing here. Unfortunately the only things in the YML definitions that appear to be able to filter based on path is the triggers themselves. So the only way I can think of doing this is to author some sort of helper script that runs as the first job, figures out whether the delta of files is only docs or not, and then sets variables for the other jobs to follow and trigger on. That's way more work than I was intending to spend on it right now, so I'm just going to close this. |
