i am trying to install numpy but it keeps failing and i am not sure why

To help here we need the actual install error. Could you share:

1. The output of the install (full text from the terminal or the "Python Environments" output channel).
2. Which environment you're installing into — your env list shows a Python 3.15.0a8 venv; numpy doesn't yet ship binary wheels for 3.15 alpha, which would make installs fail to build from source on Windows.

If you're targeting the 3.15a venv, please retry on the 3.13.5 environment in your list (cpython-3.13.5-windows-x86_64-none) and confirm whether numpy installs there.
