intellisense does not work in the new update

Steps to reproduce:

After the new update, intellisense does not work for any python environment.
I have tried enabling linting, tried a few different linters as well. Nothing seems to work.
I have also made sure, I am in the correct venv, even that does not help.

Am I missing something over here?

@deven-gqc, I see something similar. Intellisense works for a bit, then after some editing/time it stops working and my CPUs start churning as the CPU fan turns on.

OS Version: Mac OS X 13.0 (though I saw the same behavior a few days ago on 12.x)
VS Code Version: Version: 1.72.2 (d045a5eda657f4d7b676dedbfa7aab8207f8a075)

NOTE: Developer: Reload Window gets intellisense back functional for a bit, but the CPU still runs hot and it's only a matter of time before it happens again.

A bit more investigation reveals that the vscode pylance server is stealing all of my CPU. I confirmed that killing these processes returns my computer to normal.

@deven-gqc From the settings for python.languageServer it looks like you have set it to None. Setting it to None turns off intellisense. Set it to Default.
