Python Language Server uses too much RAM / Memory

This is the same issue as "Python Language Server uses too much RAM / Memory #2594" that was closed previously.

My Linux VSCode has been working fine for months However this morning my machine ground to a halt I it was because Python Language Server had reached 9.8GB ram usage. I switched Jedi on and am now having no memory problems.

I noticed something in notifications telling me that Python Language Server was updating recently. I suggest that a memory leak has been introduced.
