Notebook progress eats text

• OS Version: OSX

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open a Jupyter Notebook with the new VSCode based notebook editor (insider only)
2. Execute !conda install -c conda-forge tensorflow
3. Watch how the install progress spinner 'eats' the preceding text.

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: No, I believe this also needs Python extension to open Jupyter notebooks.
