Manually clicking 'Check for updates' should show notification with release notes link

When clicking 'Check for updates' in the Help menu you do not get any notice if there actually is an update available. If there is no update available you get a MessageBox stating no update is available.

VSCode should either show a MessageBox with info about the availability of the update stating version available and provide a link to the release notes.

Currently I have to click the 'Check for updates' twice (second time is to apply the update) if there is an update but only upon updating will I be notified about changes when VSCode displays the Release Notes for the new version.

I've intentionally turned off auto update for a reason.
