Copying a file doesn't update the active file that is in focus, but the Explorer focus does change, which is confusing #122459

Description

@JimmyBanks
  • VS Code Version: 1.55.2
  • OS Version: Mac 11.3

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Copy a file from the Explorer
  2. Paste the file
  3. The highlighted file in Explorer will be the copy
  4. The focus in the edit pane will be the old file
  5. Since the focus in the Explorer is the new copy, you assume you are editing your new copied file, when in fact you are editing the original, resulting in an annoyance where you edit the file and save, and you actually over-wrote the original and not the new copy
