show progress/ETA when downloading vscode update?

When vscode is downloading its update, is it possible to know how much has been downloaded? or even better with an ETA for one to understand how much time is still needed. That could be shown in the gear menu along with the download update menu item, or maybe better with some message in the status bar. Thank you.
