Not running and debugging code.

I use visual studio code for python. I use many extensions. From one day to another, without changing any settings, visual studio code stopped both running and debugging my programs (neither of them work). Tried uninstalling all the extensions, keeping only the necessary ones. Didnt work. Tried uninstalling and re-installing many times, no result. Why?
