Dark theme weird colors appearing in editor and terminal (might be rendering issues)

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

• VS Code Version: 1.69.1 (Universal)
• OS Version: macOS Monterey 12.4 (21F79)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. switch to a dark theme to see weird colorings in terminal and scroll down to the bottom you'll see the same thing appearing in editor

Could be related to settings? but I don't know which one I should toggle on/off. It appears to be some rendering issue? Can only be seen in dark mode though.
