Multiple incorrect build task terminals started up when re-opening Code - Insiders #156353

Description

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Not currently sure, as I'm having issues getting a consistent repro.

  • VS Code Version: Version: 1.70.0-insider
    Commit: 3cbf306
    Date: 2022-07-25T05:27:27.755Z (1 day ago)

  • OS Version: macOS 12.5

Steps to Reproduce:

Note: I'm poking a bit to see if I can find an easy way to reproduce, but right now I'm only seeing it from time to time with the local development process. Wanted to make sure that I got it logged though.

  1. I'm working with the vscode-jupyter workspace file https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-jupyter/blob/main/pvsc.code-workspace
  2. With vscode-insiders open I had just the "Compile (vscode-jupyter)" and "Compile Web Views (vscode-jupyter)" tasks active and running
  3. To pick up a new update for insiders I did "Check for updates" which reloaded the window.
  4. Coming back the following terminals were started up. Multiple copies of ones that I had running and several that I had not been running.
