multi line section is not rejected via mouse click once editing via team viewer

Steps to Reproduce:

1. connect via team viewer to remote linux machine. Use standard keybindings in editor
2. select several lines via alt+shift+up/alt+shift+down.
3. try comment them via pressing #
   expected result: # appears on every line
   actual result: nothing happens. Cannot revoke multiline selecting
