VSCode taking up significant battery

My battery life has reduced from 8 hours to 3, even when VSCode is not running. I have tried minimizing the number of extensions I'm using and am looking for other workarounds. Please fix this issue soon! I love vscode and would like to be able to keep using it

@bpasero, I am also experiencing battery issue with vscode, I even reinstalled it but it didn't solved any problem.

Only way to remove VS Code from the below "significant energy" tab was deleting the app.
