I happened to see this in the console:
2022-10-14 13:08:17.753 [warning] [GitHub.vscode-pull-request-github] Accessing a resource scoped configuration without providing a resource is not expected. To get the effective value for 'git.openDiffOnClick', provide the URI of a resource or 'null' for any resource.
