Erro ao abrir arquivos da WSL #166275

O vs code não consegue abrir arquivos da minha distro linux localizada na minha WSL
Aparece a seguinte mensagem de erro: "VS Code Server for WSL closed unexpectedly."
Eu não alterei nada das configurações do VS Code ou mexi em algum arquivo da distro pelo terminal, simplesmente fui abrir o VS Code e me apareceu esse erro.
