Cursor in Terminal jumps after terminal clear #171289

Hello, Team!
I discovered that after I use the Terminal: Clear command, and start to type, the cursor jumps to the last line, and the command continues there (see attachment). The issue also happens in the Insiders Edition. Can you please fix this?
