I can't stop my Live Share session

I want to stop sharing my session using Live Share feature. I clicked on Session Details and then in the Stop Collaboration Session button. Now under Session Details a new message showed up saying Ending collaboration session... the problem is that it's taking forever to finally end the session. It has been more than 10mins and still it hasn't finally ended. What can I do to force quit the sesion?

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.76.2. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.
