Cannot drag file from one window to another

• OS Version: MacOS Ventura 13.2 (22D49)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open a vscode.dev window with one repo
2. Open another vscode.dev window with a different repo
3. Attempt to drag one window from the sidebar to another

Cannot read properties of null (reading 'name')

I searched through the web labels, but couldn't seem to find one like this. Apologies if this is a duplicate.

I'm not sure if we will be able to support this, but we definitely shouldn't pop up a null modal

I have encountered the same issue but with a slightly different presentation.

I am using VSCode web on ChromeOS v129. I have a remote repository hosted on a Windows 11 PC that VSCode has opened and connected to.

When I drag a file from the native ChromeOS files app onto VSCode the file is automatically uploaded but the "cannot read properties of null (reading 'name')" message is displayed.

The file appears to upload successfully and no negative outcomes from the message being displayed are observed. The message appears to be cosmetic in nature only with no actual impact on uploading the file.

I have tested and if I open a local repository hosted directly on the Chromebook, I am able to successfully drag and drop a file on VSCode without the "cannot read properties of null (reading 'name')" message being displayed.

This issue does not prevent me from doing anything but it is a nuisance.
