source.addMissingImports does not work without CheckJS #180503

I use js/jsx . I want to use the function "source.addMissingImports": true, but This function does not work without checkJS: true. I don't need type checking in js/jsx files, but without it, the automatic addition of missing imports doesn't work. Is it possible to somehow differentiate or correct this? It seems to me that these are generally different functions that should work separately from each other, but without check JS does not work.
