TypeScript intellisense for i18next not working anymore sinc VSCode update

Type: Bug

1. Clone https://github.com/i18next/i18next
2. Navigate to: https://github.com/i18next/i18next/tree/master/examples/typescript
3. npm i
4. open index.ts
5. check intelisense for => i18next.t('')

On VSCode v1.78.2 it works.
On VSCode v1.79.1/v1.79.2 it does not work anymore.

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.79.2. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.

Same here, using VSCode v1.79.2 on Windows, not only the intellisense for i18next has stopped working, the autocompletion for react-navigation has also stopped working to me. The suggestions only appear when I Ctrl + Space without inserting anything inside the parenthesis:

This issue is also in Webstorm, but there the problem is that it doesn't have the behaviour explained in the upper two comments. So it doesn't seem to be isolated to only vscode being the problem.

I don't know, I just know that I've downgraded to v1.78.2 (April Update) and it started working again, both react-navigation and i18next suggestions as I type. Just hope this is fixed soon so that I don't have to stay with an old version or give up on the intellisense for these two libs
