Markdown image and doc link snippet workflows end up with extra `https` in link 

Testing #186236

Use the `image` snippet, which inserts:

```
![alt](https://)
```

fill in the title text

```
![some text](https://)
```

use Tab to go to the link section and paste a URL

you end up with:

```
![some text]([https://](https://github.com/features/codespaces))
```

This also happens with the Markdown `link` snippet or if editing an existing image or doc link
