Type: Performance Issue

This happened today.

2 weeks ago I installed VS code
I was receiving errors from dos "couldn't create connection to server" on startup
Downloaded VSCode source from GitHub
same error
Installed from Microsoft web site
issue resolved.
Both versions were the same
screen shots before and after available
Not a big issue - but an issue. How many others can't figure it out?
InteliSense couldn't notify of me of a update. There was a DLL found out of date that the installation from Microsoft's website resolved.
Now I know all my software is up to date
Yes I have a windows Insider profile
Perhaps I lack the experience for these things.
