Mouse click not working anywhere in VS Code

This is the same as this closed issue: #221298
I will report back whether the issue resolves itself over time as it did before.

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

• VS Code Version: 1.98
• OS Version: ChomeOS v 133.0.6943.132

Steps to Reproduce:

1. with VS Code open, allow Chromebook to go to sleep
2. attempt to engage with VS Code using the mouse

Mouse doesn't work within VS Code, but works fine elsewhere on the Chromebook.

A second restart of the chromebook seems to have done the trick. Possibly related to closing tabs (RAM issue somehow)?

FYI for me, this issue appears to be related to the use of an external monitor. Plugging the monitor in (HDMI) or turning it on seems to trigger the issue at least some of the time, and since the monitor takes longer to wake up than the Chromebook itself, it can also happen upon waking a sleeping Chromebook if VS Code was already open.

Closing and opening VS Code does not always fix this issue, but changing the Chromebook's display settings (even if I just change them immediately back) tends to fix the issue.

I think I've discovered the actual source of this issue for me: I had my secondary monitor as my "primary display" in my Chromebook display settings, and the issue would occur when I opened and used VS Code on my laptop screen. Switching my laptop to primary display appears to have fixed the issue.

I hope this helps somebody else encountering a similar issue!
