copilot chat session unresponsive

says its refactoring and whatever, but it doesnt do any actual changes.
additionally cant:
change mode (agent, ask, edit)
cahnge models
start a new chat
get it to do anything

Can you explain some more? A screen recording might help. Please check the Window output channel for any errors.

as requested a video. pretty much the whole chat is unresponsive. this is on a new session of VS. additionally would like to add that the prompt that was sent, counted towards the premium requests usage even tho no actual response, or anything really, from the LLM.

where do i see the output channel?
