Type: Bug

I just updated vscode to the latest version (using the "restart to update" button when prompted).

The extension host now keeps crashing as soon as I open vscode.

I have disabled all extensions so it's def not an issue with a specific extension.

I can reproduce even after disabling all extensions and rebooting my laptop.

I have also reinstalled vscode from scratch using the darwin installer from the website. I also have the same issue with the insider version.

Insiders has a different cause on macOS, we have frozen the problematic build, you can check for update to get the fixed version.

@antoine-sac please share dump file from your stable version that is facing the crash https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/wiki/Native-Crash-Issues#creating-a-crash-report
