issue: GitHub copilot extension able to read code in the project but It struggles significantly reading library code (added as dependencies) . it does lot of hacks to understand how library code works sometime risky & hallucinates due to lack of context

Can you provide more info and details about the scenario? It sounds like the model couldn't read the library source? or miss some context? Also what models are you using and are there repro steps? Thanks.

what model do you use? also do you check if it has the built-in tools enabled (specifically read)?

@bryanchen-d most of the times when AI writes code - it always starts from scratch, I don't use existing imported libraries, another thing is it doesn't look for libs which already solves it.

principle is very simple - "don't reinvent the wheel", when something exists use it, rather than rebuilding it.
