Greetings,

I am having a similar issue when using WSL2 after upgrading to vscode 1.114.0. vscode is working properly on host machine with Electron fetcher.
I am working behind a proxy. It seems like node-fetcher cannot respect proxy setting properly.

Is this issue already known by the team?
