TL;DR - The Swagger file mentioned in the above comment either no longer exists or has been moved from the aforementioned location.
The request would be to either restore this file to the above location, document where it can be found (if it has been moved), add it to a known location and document that, or add some other documentation that would let developers divine how the VSCode update API functions.

I would like to write my own Arch Linux user package script based on the official one (found here) that can pick up daily builds when they occur instead of waiting for the update to be published by the official package maintainer. Yes, it's very OCD. Yes, I actually do have OCD and the "An update is available" notification but having to wait for the update to be pushed triggers it hard.
