The theme color of Visual Studio Code 1.112 has always been the default Dark Modern

Press cmd + shift + p to open the command palette, type theme, select Preferences: Color Theme, and change it from VS Code Dark (default dark) to Dark Modern.

Confirmed! This morning my IDE looked like a freaking Circus. Glad that I was not the cause of that myself.
The here proposed manual reset to Dark Modern works. I can go on with my life.

Yes, it's really bad. It's not a normal theme, it's high contrast theme (the text editor part). VSCode settings should not default to ergonomics for people with disabilities, and that includes theme choice.

I don't understand why they had to force this on the users. It's okay to change the default theme. But if the user has the default selected just switch to the currently selected theme at update.

(And yeah, it's ugly AF)
