Latest Copilot release causes Extreme HIGH CPU usage

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Just start VS Code and watch CPU spikes in task manager, I tried on multiple PCs, Win 10, Win11, even on a fresh VPS

Until last week things have been working great (CPU usage wise), but all of sudden latest releases of Copilot causing high CPU usage. In VS Code insider since copilot (0.41.2026032002), as well as in VSCode-stable (with their latest release of copilot 0.41.1)

Can you please look into it? I tried on multiple PCs, Win 10, Win11, even on a fresh VPS

Most of the time the CPU reaches to 99% with just VSCode that too in idle state

is it related to git.exe as i see continue invocation of git.exe
it trigges continuously and closes immediately, was able to screenshot somehow, not sure if its the reason

I deleted .github/agents folder where i had many agent files, which have been working great so far, and the cpu usage dropped completely. I copied agents folder back and cpu spiked again. Checked every agent file and all tools and formatting are correct as well. So is this some regressions for agent files?
