copilot suggests a option for this:

• Upstream Chromium/Electron fix: The desktop environment detection happens in Chromium's key_storage_util_linux.cc. If labwc is becoming a common Wayland compositor (it's the new default on Raspberry Pi OS Trixie), the right long-term fix is adding it to the detection logic upstream in Electron/Chromium.
