VS Code repeatedly freeze and request ReOpen

Type: Performance Issue

Due to this, I just consume premium request but no progress due to freeze. It's waste time. I'd like to solve this issue otherwise I have to override to another development tool.
I hope there is solution soon.

I am facing the same issue too

In the last day I regularly now hit the Code Helper process spinning at 100%. I can consistently trigger it when the agent runs my make test which should exit in ~1 second, but ends up causing vscode to hang.

This continue to happen, specifically after the agent carries out certain actions. I just updated to the latest version

and I fully uninstalled, deleted ~/Library/Application Support/Code and ~/.vscode/extensions, yet without installing any extension, I can still trigger vscode to just hang.
