AI features enabled in all workspaces after update, including previously explicitly disabled ones

Hi, I just updated VSCode and your Copilot extension, and it seems that now Copilot, or "AI features", is enabled in all workspaces, even though I had it enabled before in just specific workspaces. This is NOT acceptable. People have private code that is not supposed to be sent over to the cloud. There's at least one similar closed issue in the old archived repository: microsoft/vscode-copilot-release#7963.

I had similar issues multiple times. M$lop seems always putting these annoying useless AI feature back over and over again and hiding them behind unpredictable settings and secretly turning them back with updates, up to the point where VSCode will be eventually useless if you just want to code. You have better off to just switch to VSCodium. For me it worked and solved 99% of my problems with VSCode.

Do you mean that the chat.disableAIFeatures setting was set, and got unset? Or what specifically do you mean?

@kamzil Thanks for reporting this issue - We made copilot chat as built in extension a month ago and there was a bug in handling disablement of AI features per workspace which we fixed immediately here - #310143

Can you please let me know if you still see the issue? If so can you please share steps?
