Agents: Terminal auto-closes a lot

On a daily basis I'm seeing an issue where the terminal in Agents app will be automatically closed shortly after being opened. It happens multiple times a day but is not something I've found I can consistently reproduce. The "best" method I've across for reproducing is to use the workspace picker in the new chat view to jump between selecting different folders and then immediately trying to open the terminal panel via keybinding (ctrl + `) or toggle button.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Agents new chat view
2. Select a new folder via workspace picker
3. Immediately try to open terminal via keybinding or toggle button
4. See if terminal auto-closes
5. Switch to a new workspace folder and repeat steps 3 and 4

Note: In the video I was never able to repro the issue using the toggle button, which I think generally tracks. Opening via keybinding is usually much more issue prone than toggle button, but I do still occasionally see issues with opening via button to be clear.

I'm seeing in this on my work laptop so it should be intuned. Also to clarify, what did you want to glean from the linked issue thread? I didn't see any mention about intuning

@hawkticehurst Bug from the linked issue is the one where terminal auto-closed (not just in agent app but also in regular vscode) was only happening on non-corporate machines. Something related to MacOS keychains, github auth was weird , etc . Thought maybe the two may be related, but if you're still able to repro, then it's likely not the same root cause.

If you can repro consistently, it would be great if you can forward me your logs for terminal + pty host.
