Agents Windows - Claude Sonnet/Opus Models missing

• OS Version: MacOS Sequoia 15.7.1

Trying to use the latest Agents Window with Claude, but only Haiku model is available. Sonnet and Opus are missing. When I switch back to File Editor mode, all the claude models (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus) are available. I am logged in to my github account as well as my claude subscription.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Switch to Agents Window
2. Select New session with any workspace
3. Select Claude as the agent
4. Notice that only Haiku is selectable in the model dropdown

But how do you even use Claude Subscription on Agents? They force you to use copilot which removed Opus and will continue to limit more and more other models.

I'm facing the same issue. Only Claude 4.5 Haiku is available in the new Agents window.

It seems that you can use Claude Subscription but I gave up since it seems to force to use the Copilot subscription but it's very shady.
I am not using Agents until they fix this. If it is to go the Codex way, then it should be crystal clear what subscriptions we are using and what models of that subscription that are being used.
VSCode is relatively clear on the old interface but the new one is just misleading.

Same issue. Weird, because the subscription is clearly integrated to some degree. My Claude MCPs are there, even the sessions from the desktop app have been pulled. But only Haiku can be selected that uses GitHub Copilot and not my Claude sub whether I switch to Claude or not.

Same issue on my Mac, but works on my Win 11 Enterprise laptop
