Hi VS Code team,
On Windows, I often run into a problem where the mouse cursor becomes hard to see or even appears invisible inside VS Code.
At the moment, the common workaround seems to be manually changing the Windows mouse cursor color or style. However, that is not ideal, because it means changing the system-wide appearance just to make one application usable.
It would be great if VS Code could offer a built-in way to improve cursor visibility on Windows, such as:
-
a VS Code-specific cursor visibility setting
-
better adaptation to Windows cursor themes
-
a fallback cursor style when the current one is too hard to see
This would make the editor much more comfortable to use on Windows without forcing users to change the whole OS cursor setup.
Thanks for considering it.
