@connor4312 I ran into some confusion, I controlled the conditions of the appearance, but it didn't seem to work, and the content still showed up on editor menu of each file

Thanks for the PR! There's more work needed since the capabilities are global and we didn't previously have any variable that applied just to the active editor. We also needed work to make the lookup efficient, since previously navigating to a file where there were no tests would result in VS Code iterating over the entire test collection.

Since there were a lot more changes needed, I've extended this and tackled them in #167091. Although this PR didn't get merged, we really appreciate your contribution 🙂
