Overview

This discussion tracks feedback for the planned wingetbot auto-update PR triage agentic workflow in microsoft/winget-pkgs.

The v1 workflow is moderator-assist and recommend-only. It classifies one supported validation failure using trusted PR metadata and validation evidence, then posts a concise suggested disposition. It never downloads installers, handles security findings, edits manifests, applies waivers, closes PRs, or invokes wingetbot.

• Incorrect or incomplete failure classifications.
• PRs where multiple failures should have caused the workflow to defer.
• Better evidence or disposition rules for supported classes.
• Comments that are unclear, noisy, or missing important moderator context.
• Validation logs or artifacts that were unavailable or expired.

When possible, include links to the PR, validation run, and relevant workflow output. Do not post installer binaries or suspected-malware links.
