Open-source neural interface manifesto
Date: August 16, 2025

OpenLink is a concept of an open-source neural interface, an alternative to closed corporate projects like Neuralink.
- Full transparency of firmware and algorithms.
- The ability to build and run “brain plugins.”
- Freedom from propaganda, censorship, and hidden manipulation.
- GPL for consciousness: your mind stays yours.
In the near future, corporations may use closed neural implants to push advertising, propaganda, or even behavioral control directly into the human brain.
OpenLink must become what Linux once was for servers: an open, auditable, community-driven alternative that no one can monopolize.
This is just the manifesto.
Code: coming soon.
"If you don’t own the code running in your brain, you don’t own yourself."
