MindsDB January Product Updates

Last month we added integration with Deepnote, worked on SQL syntax improvements, and made MindsDB (v2.62.4) more stable by fixing the bugs below.

As usual, please see below a detailed list of new features and bug fixes:

New features and improvements:

• New analysis block that offers insights with regards to each model's calibration.
• Added a new option to SELECT from uploaded files.
• Test connection to CockroachDB using SSL
• Improved T+N forecast bounds
• Optimized classifier ICP block for confidence estimation.
• The GROUP BY keyword is optional with time series models.
• Added SHOW DATASOURCES query to list all new datasources.
• Added DROP DATASOURCE query to remove existing datasources.
• Implemented MindsDB configuration migrations to avoid breaking new releases.

Bug fixes:

• Fix for using BETWEEN keyword.
• Fixed initialization issues in confidence normalizer (better T+N Bounds)
• Fixed no analysis mode (added parameter to specify this in a problem definition)
• Fixed temporal delta estimation for ungrouped series
• Time-delata computation bug fixed.
• Fixed quotation marks bug in CREATE statement.
• Fixed PostgreSQL connection issues using a self-signed certificate.
• Fixed Docker image issues.
