Version 2025.2-1.8.8 causes IntelliJ to freeze indefinitely when trying to create a new project

Description of the bug

With MCDev disabled, the project creation menu shows up just fine. However, with it enabled, it behaves as shown in the video found at the following link: https://imgur.com/a/6uE3zVT

Other times, it may also cause IntelliJ to freeze before the project creation menu opens.

Once it starts freezing, it becomes impossible to close IntelliJ without resorting to task manager.

The Old Project Wizard opens, but the new Project Wizard makes the IDE freeze

This bug also occurs on my linux distro - crashes every time I try to create a new project.
