You can do what you want. But in case anything goes wrong you have zero failover. If that is "production quality" for you then I guess that's fine. |

I read a single-drive configuration is not recommended for production use. Is that because it is not ideal or because it is objectionable? I have a VM server with a large internal storage pool I can put this on. The single-drive would be provisioned out of that storage pool (which already has drive redundancy). I understand this is not how the product was designed, what I'm trying to tease out is if this will work reliably.
