Binary error with openlibssl on MacOS

Error encountered when running the binary on Mac M4 laptop.

dyld[6666]: Library not loaded: /opt/homebrew/opt/openssl@1.1/lib/libssl.1.1.dylib

openssl@1.1 has been disabled because it is not supported upstream! It was disabled on 2024-10-24.

The same issue when running using asdf.

The current version installed using Homebrew: OpenSSL 3.5.2 5 Aug 2025 (Library: OpenSSL 3.5.2 5 Aug 2025)

Unfortunately, it's a Crystal issue (crystal-lang/crystal#15423) and we build the binary using GitHub Actions and all the runner images come with OpenSSL 1.1.

Maybe building from source might work?

I've updated the build script to produce binaries with OpenSSL 1.1 and 3 https://github.com/mint-lang/mint/actions/runs/18903020311 so releases going forward will support OpenSSL 3.
