ANNOUNCEMENT: Repository History Cleanup (Action Required for Contributors)

Hey everyone,

I am Mizarc, creator and maintainer of the Waystone Warps project. I recently ran an internal audit on the repository to address some recent privacy and security changes. During this review, I found that several earlier commits contained information that does not align with the future of this application.

To properly address this and to ensure the legal/compliance history is clean from day one, I used git filter-repo to systematically scrub and standardise those references across the entire commit timeline.

Because this required editing the text content of foundational commits, all subsequent commit hashes have changed.

What you need to do:

Unfortunately, Git is designed to host a permanent record of changes, and rewriting history can get messy. Existing forks and local clones will now conflict with the remote. To fix this, please back up any active work, delete your local repository folder entirely, and perform a fresh git clone. If you have a highly customised fork, you will need to fetch the new upstream and rebase.

This rewrite of the history was done to protect privacy. We request that contributors and fork owners respect this boundary. Please do not investigate the changes to uncover redacted information, and absolutely do not share, announce, or dox any individuals involved. Maintaining a safe and respectful environment for everyone involved in this project is our priority.
