Items
In Star Trek Adventures, items can be created either in the sidebar and dragged onto actor sheets or directly within the actor sheet by pressing the plus (+) icon at the top of the items section. The system will prevent you from adding incompatible items to an actor (e.g., you can’t place a starship weapon on a character).
Each Value has a name and a description. This represents a core belief or principle of the character.
A Talent includes a name, an optional type (e.g., species-specific or requiring certain attributes), and a description of what the talent does.
A Focus is simply a name and a description, representing a specialized area of expertise.
Traits have a name, a quantity (so you can stack the same trait multiple times), and a description.
This item type includes fields for the weapon’s name, whether it’s an opportunity or escalation weapon, its range, and any special properties (like Accurate or Cumbersome), along with a description.
A generic item type that has a name, quantity, opportunity/escalation cost, and description. This is used for general equipment.
A Log Sheet pulls in Values from the actor and lets you record how those values were used (positively, negatively, or challenged) in a mission, along with a description.
A Milestone has a name, a checkbox if it was an Arc, and fields for how many steps were needed. You can select associated logs and add a description.
This is a special item that links a small craft actor to a starship actor sheet. It includes the craft’s name, type (chosen from a dropdown), quantity, and description. It helps you access the small craft sheet easily from the main actor.
Similar to Character Weapons but meant for starships. It includes fields for the weapon’s name, type, range, and special properties.
