From slack:

  1. starting a CLI command with a $ in the code block makes githubs markdown copy-paste buttons misbehave, let's remove these.
  2. in-between cloning the repo and entering the nix shell, the user must cd seabug
  3. i hit a permission error when performing the nix-develop command, i wonder who else does. (chmod 777 -R /nix fixed it)
