This is something that can/should be done server-side. We had originally tried doing this on the device so that erroneous values weren't being published, but that broke some of our legacy igniter control logic, and we we didn't want to open that can of worms and create (even more) heterogeneity across the systems.

Might want to have the code default to a range of 0-80 deg, but then provide a slider, similar to the days shown slider, to allow the user to adjust on-the-fly so that the code doesn't need to be modified to adjust this range moving forward.
